The 320mm x 160 mm series is mounted with 128 rows and 64 columns of LEDs, which means there are up to 8,192 LEDs on each panel. It has the same pixel density as the 160mm*160mm series P2.5 module but with twice the LEDs and is more expensive. This standard size allows the P2.5 module to have flexible compatibility with many other 320×160mm series LED modules. If you are looking for the same size as well as a wider pitch for a longer viewing distance, check out the P4 or P5.

Choosing between a 160×160mm (square) or 320×160mm (rectangular) module (P2.5mm) primarily depends on your screen shape, budget, and installation space. You can choose based on the following three core dimensions:
1. Determine your screen shape and creative needs.
Choose 160×160mm: If you are making an LED cube screen, cylindrical screen, right-angle corner screen, square screen, or if the installation space is very tight and the length and width dimensions must be accurate to multiples of 16 cm.
Choose 320×160mm: If you are making a standard 16:9 or 4:3 large screen (such as a conference room or stage backdrop). This rectangular module is an industry standard and very easy to assemble into a standard display ratio.
2. Consider your budget and installation costs.
Economical first choice: 320×160mm. Because of the larger area of each module, the number of modules required to splice together the same area is reduced by half. This means fewer ribbon cables and power cables need to be purchased, and installation labor costs are significantly reduced.
Higher cost: 160×160mm. The number of modules doubles for the same area, resulting in a larger wiring workload, more complex control card load calculations, and higher overall hardware and labor costs.
3. Considering the convenience of later maintenance
Local fine-tuning: 160×160mm. If a defective pixel occurs in a certain area, the cost and impact of replacing a single module are smaller due to the smaller module area.
Quick overhaul: 320×160mm. Larger areas are easier to control for flatness, and the area that can be replaced at one time during maintenance is larger, making it suitable for commercial large screens that require efficient maintenance.
